How ZeroTick scores and ranks companies
ZeroTick continuously monitors global business and financial news sources. Our system processes headlines and article metadata to identify which US publicly traded companies are being most discussed and how the coverage sentiment is trending.
Each company receives a Momentum Score from 0 to 100 based on recent news activity. This score reflects news volume, sentiment direction, source credibility, and novelty of coverage.
News: GNews (licensed headlines and snippets), GDELT Project (global event metadata and tone analysis).
Stock Data: Financial Modeling Prep (FMP) for ticker quotes and company metadata.
